About God Calling Ministries
In the summer of 2024, during an International Conference of Police Chaplains in Arizona, a persistent spiritual nudge sparked the beginning of an extraordinary journey. This nudge, initially met with hesitation, would soon blossom into a vibrant ministry touching lives across the United States.
The seed was planted during a Bible study that had transitioned to Zoom, connecting women from Kentucky and Ohio with their relocated leader in Florida. A casual suggestion to visit Florida materialized into a divine appointment at Jiggs Landing in Bradenton, Florida.
What began as a simple reunion transformed into a powerful spiritual gathering:
-
Women from six states attended
-
10 individuals accepted Christ
-
12 were baptized
-
Local pastors joined unexpectedly
-
The event culminated in "Worship on the Water"
This experience echoed Matthew 4:19: "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men," setting the stage for a larger calling.
The next spiritual nudge directed towards establishing a 501(c)(3) ministry brought initial anxiety. However, a providential doctor's visit provided reassurance through prayer and biblical wisdom, referencing Daniel's faith in the lion's den. This encounter, along with guidance from a friend experienced in nonprofits, paved the way for "God Calling Ministries" to become an official organization.
The ministry's reach extended to Kentucky's Potter's Ranch, where a collaboration with Dr. Lew from Oklahoma incorporated horses into the program. This event, like its predecessor at Jiggs Landing, was marked by spiritual significance and divine orchestration.
As "God Calling Ministries" moves into 2026, the ministry continues to evolve:
-
Worship on the Water events in various locations
-
A growing team of dedicated volunteers
-
Anticipation for future divine appointments
The journey of "God Calling" serves as a testament to the power of following spiritual promptings and trusting in God's guidance. It encourages others to remain open to unexpected callings and to step out in faith, even when the path seems uncertain.
